Mint and Navy Bridal Shower: "Mint to be"

When I started planning for Michele's bridal shower, I tried to think of things that Michele liked. Two things I know Michele loves are are mints and blue and green! Thus, my "Mint to be" theme was born! With the help of Michele's mom and bridesmaid, Christy, we were able to accomplish all this in about 3 weeks!

Michele also decided to have her wedding colors to be a sea foam/mint green and navy blue to go with their nautical theme, so it went perfectly together!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Michele! Enjoy some pictures from the shower!

I found a similar

design on Pinterest and decided to use my (and my husband's) Photoshop skills to create our own. After many hours of searching for fonts, I finally was happy with it!

Instead of having regular cups, we decided to have mason jars with cute mint green striped straws! I love how these turned out! We also bought Chick-fil-a lemonade and put a drop of blue food coloring in it to make it look like a mint green! I loved how it all turned out!

I also made this antique cupcake plate stand from items I found thrifting. It looked so great adorned with my Andes mint cupcakes!

This ribbon banner was probably the largest and most time-consuming project of the whole shower. But it was totally worth it! I love how it turned out and totally want to hang it in a guest room in the future! Tutorial on how I made it to come soon!

I found all these frames at thrift stores and bought some craft paint to make them more festive! Loving how it all turned out.

The little chalk board sign was supposed to have "Mint to be" written on it, which is eventually did, I just took pictures before I realized I hadn't written on it yet. Oh well! Haha.

I saw this

on Pinterest as well and made it my own. Michele loves their new J & M sign!

To keep the theme consistent, I decided that the party favor should be a little bag of MINTS! Haha. These little tissue paper wrapped mints were so fun. A huge thank you to my husband, Matt, for helping me make all of them. He got really good at tying the knots to make it look a bit nautical!

I loved getting to showcase Michele and John's engagement pictures. LOVE that one on the right!

We played several games at the shower. The traditional toilet paper wedding dress game cracked me up! I think everyone had a blast!

We also played the "What did he say" game where we had to guess what answers the future groom would give to a whole list of questions. It was pretty hilarious.

And finally, the bride-to-be herself! So excited to celebrate with you this weekend on the beach for your WEDDING! Ah! Yay! I can hardly wait!
