Mark & Meagan: Amber Grove Wedding Richmond, Virginia

Back in April, I had the opportunity to second shoot with the wonderful

Karen Allen

. I am SO thankful for all she has done for me and my photography business! I could gush on and on about how awesome she is, but you should just take a look at her

blog

and

website

to see her work and learn more about how fabulous she is. :) And to see more of

this wedding

definitely check out her blog.

When Karen asked me to join her at this wedding, I was super excited! Amber Grove is an absolutely gorgeous venue and it was the perfect time of year. Flowers were blooming and the temperature was fantastic!

Mark and Meagan had been together for 8 years! They were definitely ready to become husband and wife! Meagan looked gorgeous in her princess wedding gown and her bouquet was beautiful! I may have overkilled it on bouquet photos. But it was just so pretty!

Karen, even pregnant, gets down to get the shot! What a dedicated photographer!!

I loved how the photos in the yellow room turned out. I love yellow!

Their ceremony was in a barn. So cute! Plus, all the extra decorations made it that much more personalized. So lovely.

Love the moments of the bride and groom immediately after the ceremony. They were so excited!

The kids running around were really adorable.

Especially this little girl. How sweet is she?

Here's Karen again rocking at her job!

Loved the bridesmaids flowers and dresses!

Meagan was a gorgeous bride! Loved her flower crown too!

Now for portraits! I LOVE these. Hello beautiful 85mm lens compression.

The reception was in a tent and it was beautifully decorated. I was loving the light pink. Such a good color for spring!

Then it was time to head back out for some portraits. This tree was unbelievable. LOVE these two.

And while that tree was gorgeous, I think these are some of my absolute favorites of the day. So, so lovely!!

Just outside the reception tent was this cute little wooden swing.

Outside they also had crochet and corn hole. The kids were really funny to watch.

Then it was dancing time. These are some of my first reception images with flash and I think they turned out really well! Yay!

And again, these kids were cracking me up! They were all over the dance floor, literally!

Mark and Meagan, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day!

And Karen thank you for trusting me to represent your business and to help you capture this beautiful day!
