Even though I have a photography business, I don't believe I've ever told my story. The story of how I got into photography.
You know me and how much I like to type in these blog posts, haha. So I'll save that story for it's own separate blog post. However, the family I'm about to share with you is a HUGE part of my story.
I can't even tell you how long I've known this family. Maybe they met me when I was born and my parents brought me to church. I'm not sure. But regardless, I always remember them being a part of our church community.
Kelly, Stacy, and Scott are siblings who I've known since I was a toddler. My brother when he was young for some reason thought that Scott looked like he had been in jail, so they had running joke about that. Kelly and Stacy were so sweet. Stacy was a fabulous student that my mom loved and Kelly had this beautiful singing voice. I've seen Stacy and Kelly get married and other big moments in their lives. It's crazy to think of knowing them before marriage and children. Life is an amazing thing.
Kelly contacted me earlier in the year about doing a family session with all the Luther siblings and their families. That sounded so fun, but also like a challenge! 5 adults and 3 children. I had a lot of fun with them, especially with little Isaac. He's ADORABLE! You'll see why later in this post.
We had this session back in April, but because this was a surprise for their mom for Mother's Day, I had to keep it a secret. Something about the
and secret sessions. Haha.
Enjoy some of my favorites from their family sessions!
Look at Isaac's sweet, chubby face!!
Look at these lovely families.
I just love this picture!
After we covered our portraits, we then took to the playground! This was definitely the kids favorite part! Haha.
Moms and sons. :)
Then I couldn't resist not grabbing some couples portraits, since that's my specialty!
I love the way Landon is looking up at his dad. So sweet.
He's adorable! I love his little grip on his parent's fingers.
Those little toes! Gahhh! SO PRECIOUS!
I could have photographed this little fella' all day long. He was so well behaved and just looked adorable. Stacy said he looked like a little artist! And I think that's working for him!
Scott and Kelly, Jeremy and Stacy, and Scott thank you so much for trusting me to capture your families. I hope Faye and Dennis loved her Mother's Day gift!
And thank you all for everything you've done for me and my business. I would not be where I am today without you guys!
Have a great Tuesday!
