Allen & Jamie: Roanoke Country Club Wedding

Oh, friends. This wedding absolutely has my heart. From the beautiful light pink and mint details to the European-styled country club building, everything Allen & Jamie planned turned out just so lovely. But my swooning over this wedding goes beyond the pretty details. I love this couple so dearly. Their love for the Lord and each other made this wedding one to remember.

When my second shooter, Jess, and I walked into the bride’s getting ready room, Jamie’s bridesmaids were praying over her and Allen. My eyes began to fill with water as I heard these women and dear friends pray for their marriage, for years of growth together, and for their lives to glorify the Lord. I know I mention this often in my blog posts, but it is just such an honor to witness two fellow believers joined in marriage. Marriage is always beautiful to witness, but for me, it’s extra sweet when I know the couple’s desire to pursue the Lord in it.

Allen & Jamie had a beautiful September day for their wedding. It may have stormed the night before with damaging winds and power outages, but the day of was perfect. Everything ran smoothly, we were ahead of schedule (which never happens!), and everyone was just overjoyed for this wedding. Allen & Jamie had been together since 2009, so this wedding was well-anticipated and exciting for all involved!

These are some of my new favorite photos, ever. Allen & Jamie are naturally sweet together. I barely had to do any posing! And all of the details were beautiful. Enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding day!
