As I've stated before on this blog, one of the things I LOVE about photography is how small it makes the world seem. Somehow someone I know knows someone and it's just so neat and humbling.
And that's what happened with Tim and Kendal! These two actually live in Georgia, but are getting married this spring in Richmond. Kendal was friends with one of my previous brides, Carly (revisit her wedding and gorgeous bridals), when they lived in New England and have been able to keep in touch through the years. So after Kendal's mom attended her friend's wedding, Kendal decided to contact me about photographing their wedding! And that just BLOWS my mind! How amazing is that? I'm probably the only one who thinks it's THAT cool, but that's ok with me!
I absolutely loved meeting Tim and Kendal. They were so sweet and down-to-earth. They made my job SO easy behind the camera as you can see throughout this post. Though Tim said he was nervous at first, the session ended with him saying he'd dance in the middle of Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg! Hahahaha. I didn't take him up on that offer, but I am very excited to watch them break it down at their reception. :)
Tim and Kendal, I had such a fun time with you in CW and I can't wait for your May wedding!
Look at this light and that love! Oh, swoon...
These two were SO awesome trusting me to get in these... weeds, bushes? whatever they are, they were awesome and made for some of my favorite images of the evening!
Can you believe this is in Colonial Williamsburg? Almost looks like we were out in the middle of nowhere.
Ahhhhhhhh. This light and Kendal's smile. AMAZING.
Yesssss to both of these. SO romantic.
New all-time favorite! You'd never know they were walking in a tiny patch between two parallel parked cars!
