Ashley: Colonial Williamsburg Bridal Portraits

It seems as though the cold winter weather has decided to come and stick around here in Virginia for awhile. Though I do enjoy winter, it's only tolerable if it snows (in my opinion). So if it doesn't snow, I'll begin to pine for those warm summer months with its late, light evenings and beautiful colors from the blooms and trees.

And all those things remind me of this beautiful bridal session from last fall. Matthew & Ashley were wed last May and Ashley was a stunning bride! There are some girls that just have '"it" and she is one of them! She's an absolutely gorgeous woman that kills it in front of the camera!

Ashley and I had planned on doing her bridals prior to their big day, but because of some altering delays, we weren't able to fit it in. So, we decided to do a post-wedding bridal session. And it was SO fun! I loved getting to see Ashley back in her dress and stroll through Colonial Williamsburg with her, her mom, and sister!

I always enjoy post-wedding bridals because photos become MUCH easier. We aren't worried about the wrong people seeing the dress and we aren't concerned either with dirt and leaves! We're able to let the dress drag behind a little more and get more candids of what I call "the bride and her dress" because ever girl loves to play with her wedding dress!

Enjoy these favorites. Goodness I am loving this light and Ashley's smile!
